    One Piece Female Characters Robinrx8

    Nico Robin

    About Robin

Nico Robin is the archaeologist of the Straw Hat Pirates. She was originally introduced as the Vice President of Baroque Works known as Miss All Sunday before joining up with the Straw Hats. She ate the Hana Hana no Mi.

Series creator Eiichiro Oda has stated that Nico Robin is represented by the color purple and she smells of flowers. Her favorite foods are sandwiches, cakes that are not too sweet, and things that go well with coffee.

Nico Robin is an archaeologist and historian, and possibly the only person in the current One Piece era who can read the fictional poneglyph language. Her dream is to find and decipher the Rio Poneglyph, which is believed to lie at the end of the Grand Line on the island of Raftel.

As an archaeologist, Robin values ancient artifacts and buildings and will risk her life to protect them. She becomes extremely angry with those who destroy these ancient relics. This is best demonstrated during her fight against the Skypeian Yama, who destroyed many of the ruins they were surrounded by to hurt Robin. Robin is consistently portrayed as the wisest and most sensible member of the crew. She has vast knowledge of the One Piece world, and usually keeps her head during surprising situations, allowing her to logically analyze them without losing her cool. This is in direct contrast to the other Straw Hats, who often overreact comically or melodramatically to unexpected happenings and hold irrational ideas and conclusions. Even if the rest of the crew are subjected to extreme facial expressions at the same time, Robin would continue to keep the same calm face.

As a child, Robin lived on the island of Ohara in the West Blue. She studied archeology and history, and became an official archaeologist at the age of eight. Her mother Nico Olivia left her when she was two years old to study poneglyphs and discover the truth of the One Piece world's lost history. Olivia is captured and the Marines discover the secret of Ohara's scholars. She escapes and rushes to Ohara to warn her colleagues. Robin meanwhile has been spending time with a giant named Jaguar D. Saul, who washed up on shore and later turns out to be a vice-admiral of the marines. Robin and Saul make quick friends while he is building a raft to leave the island, but when he discovers who Robin's mother is he warns her that a 'Buster Call' is on the way to Ohara to destroy all of the scholars. During the ensuing battle, Saul destroys a number of Marine ships to protect Robin, but he is eventually killed by Vice-Admiral Kuzan (later known as Aokiji) Kuzan shows Robin mercy, allowing her to escape to a nearby island. The World Government places a bounty on her head of 79 Million beli, claiming she is responsible for the destruction of six Marine ships. She spends several years allying herself with various pirates and other unsavory groups in her search for the poneglyphs, but she is constantly betrayed, gradually eroding her ability to trust people. At 24 years old, she goes to work for Sir Crocodile as "Miss All Sunday", and meets the Straw Hat pirates during the Arabasta rebellion. After the defeat of Crocodile, she stows away on board the Going Merry, telling Luffy that since he saved her when she had no reason to live, he is now responsible for her life.

After the Enies Lobby Arc, Robin becomes one of the center pieces of the crew as she is taken by the World Government. With the help of Franky, the Straw Hat crew go to war with the World Government and face the dreaded CP9 all for the sake of rescuing Robin. It is here Luffy ask Robin what she wants and she exclaims that she wants to live and that she now has a purpose to live for. With this the Straw Hat crew go on the offensive and rescue Robin (Episodes 227-316).

In the most recent Shonen Jump fan poll, Robin ranked as the fifth most popular character and the overall most popular female character.

Another one of Robin's unique characteristic is the way she calls her fellow crew members by their own distinct characteristics. Zoro as Mr. Swordsman, Nami as Miss Navigator, Usopp as Mr. Long Nose, and so forth.

Robin's measurements, according to series author Eiichiro Oda are:

    *Height: 188cm (6'2")
    *Bust99 Waist59 Hips89 (39-23-35").

    Relationships

    Crew
Until the Enies Lobby arc, Robin often tried to distance herself from other people, even her friends, as she knows that she is bound to leave them sooner or later. For that she rarely calls her comrades by name, and instead uses titles, such as Miss Navigator (Kōkaishi-san, i.e. Nami), Mr. Swordsman (Kenshi-san, i.e. Zoro), Long Nose (Nagahana-kun, i.e. Usopp), etc. She at first only called Luffy and Crocodile by their names, although in a profesional manner as an agent. She does, on occasion, call Luffy Sencho-san (meaning Captain). She has a sort of sisterly or maternal relationship within the crew.

Over time, however, Robin becomes closer with her crewmates, and begins to get a sense of belonging to them, and has stated that she cares more about their well-being than that of the rest of the world. After seeing how far they will go in order to save her, she begins calling them by name in recent arcs, doing so with Luffy, Nami, Usopp, Chopper and Franky, so far. She is grateful to Luffy for taking her in, and is significantly more patient with his impulsive personality than many of her fellow crewmates. Robin is quite close to Nami, affectionately referring to her as "Nami-chan," and often spends time with her. Sanji constantly flirts with Robin, as he does with Nami, however due to the fact she often doesn't respond to him he tends to flirt with Nami more over her. Sanji was the first member (excluding Luffy) to accept her as one of the crew. Sanji describes her as 'a distant, more mature beauty than Nami,' yet calls her "Robin-chan" (vs. "Nami-san"), which has a "cuter" and more childish aspect. He also tries to make her suffix cuter by changing it to "Robin-chwan" at times, but Robin, unlike Nami, typically ignores his advances. Zoro initially distrusts Robin, but ultimately is willing to fight for her if she is in danger.

    Friends

Professor Clover allowed her to become an archaeologist, it was his research on Poneglyphs that sparked her interest in True History. Clover allowed her to read books in his library which sparked her interest in them. She was supported by the other archaeologist in the Tree of Knowledge. They were her only friends and they cared for her more then anything. Even when they threatened to ban her from the Tree of Knowledge if she continued to spy on the efforts to uncover the True History, they did so in order to prevent her from being branded a criminal.

Aside from this, Jaguar D. Saul also held a special place in her heart for sacrificing himself to save her life.

    Enemies

During her time in Baroque Works, Robin becomes the enemy of those trying to save the kingdom from Crocodile's conspiracy, especially Nefertari Vivi, who believes that she killed Igaram, and the Straw Hats. As a result, most of the Straw Hats were suspicious about her joining, until she won them over. Vivi currently understands that Luffy has some reason for having her in his crew.

Robin's greatest threat is always from the World Government, as from the age of eight they have ruthlessly hunted her. Aside from the World Government, Robin has made many enemies in the past through her constant betrayal, the most dangerous of which is Sir Crocodile. Where ever she went she was unable to find happiness and was constantly thrown out. And when the people she stayed with found out they were now the targets of the World Government, the group would turn on her, with the exception of Crocodile who agreed to protect her.

Several other civilians hate her, fearing her ability to awaken Pluton. Iceberg is one such example, as he states that while he would prefer to burn Pluton's blueprints, he must guard them in case the World Government uses her to revive the weapon. However, his opinion of her changes after he realizes that she is willing to turn herself in to save her friends, and he admits that she is a good person.

    Family

    Nico Olvia

Nico Olvia was Robin's mother and although the two went for many years without seeing each other, her mother still loved her deeply. She was proud of her daughter and considered her amazing for being able to read Poneglyphs at an extremely young age. Her only regret was she was unable to spend time with her daughter and all Robin ever wanted was to see her again and be with her.

    Roji

Roji was Robin's aunt, she married Olvia's brother. She disliked Robin and mistreated her from the very moment she walked into her house and treated her like a slave. As the boat she boarded was hit and sunk, she is believed to be dead.

    Other

Although they were related to her, Robin is never shown interacting with her uncle and cousin. Robin's uncle was seen defending her against his wife, but otherwise did little to help her or acknowledge her as a member of the family. Robin also had a father, however Robin never knew her father and his name remains unknown. All family members (except Robin's father who died many years beforehand) are believed to have died at Ohara.

    Powers and abilities:

Robin ate the Hana Hana no Mi (Hana Hana no Mi) (Flower Flower Fruit in the English Manga) allowing her to create copies of any of her body parts on any solid surface that she can see, such as her own body, on the bodies of others or on other objects. In battle she most often employs grappling techniques to incapacitate her foe; by replicating her limbs on their body she eliminates the need for close range combat. Robin usually names her techniques using the French word 'Fleur', preceded by a Spanish number corresponding to the number of limbs reproduced. In the 4kids dub, she instead says a number in English before saying "floret". If Robin's replicated body parts are damaged in some way, the damage appears on her actual body.

Robin is extremely intelligent, having taught herself archeology at a very young age. She is also capable of reading poneglyphs, indestructible tablets believed to have been created by an extinct civilization that contain information about the 'Void Century'.

No limit has been given for Robin's replicating ability, but Oda has confirmed that she can only sprout limbs a distance of "200 Hana Hanas" away.

    One Piece Female Characters Vv10

    Nefertari Vivi

Vivi has long blue hair, which normally has two bangs hanging down, one either side of her head. She will mostly have her hair pulled back into a clip or a ponytail. She is also very slendered bodied, having long thin legs and arms. She tends to wear less revealing or alluring clothing than other females who have assoicated themselves with the crew (Nami and Robin). Though she is a princess, she rarely seems to wear clothing that suggests her social status.

One of the note worthy things about her appearance is that when she was a member of Baroque Works, she seemed to have been drawn slightly differently. While she was a member, she was drawn as though she were a woman in her late twenties or early thirties. It was only after she allied herself with the Straw Hats that she was drawn to look more like a teenage girl. This was more noticable in the anime than the manga, where the animators drew her in such a different way she could almost be mistaken for another character completely. Also, as a member, she did not have bangs untill she was attacked by Miss Valentine, making another noticable difference.

    Personality

Despite being a princess, Vivi never demands any special attention, nor does she put herself first above others. She often thinks of others before herself, risking her life to help anyone who needs her. She is also extremely brave when she needs to be, going up against powerful enemies to help her friends despite clearly being outmatched. Her selfless attitude and sense of responsibility are what pushes her to carry her country's burden.

When she argues, Vivi has a hard time coming up with insults, usually just saying something of little offense- such as nicknaming Zoro 'Mr. Bushido and has a habit of biting her bottom lip when she is tense. She often gave little speeches about responsibility while being a Straw Hat, but she does not like public speaking. When she joined the Straw Hat Pirates, her animation changed. Most fans have noted that Vivi looks evil when she was still a member of Baroque Works. A running gag throughout most of the Arabasta Arc is that Vivi constantly forgets to tell the Strawhats about the dangers of the desert, such as giant scorpions and lizards, which Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji quickly dispatch but quickly berate her inability to remember such things beforehand.

    Relationships

    Friends

As Vivi travelled with the Straw Hats, Nami and Vivi became very good friends. Vivi is Nami's opposite in appearance and personality. Nami has a hot tempered disposition, but Vivi is much more calm and collected. They switch personalities when something devastating happens, Nami is the one to calm down while Vivi panics. The two form a quick bond and pair together in most situations. Whenever she sees Luffy doing something that might compromise the crew's safety, even when he means to help, she reminds him of a leader's responsibilities.

Vivi usually mistakes most of Usopp's lies and excuses for not going into a situation as wisdom and trust instead of the pure cowardice that it is. Sanji immediately warmed up to her, and she quickly became one of his three main affections, and he defended her to the same degree as he did Nami (and later Robin). Because she put Nami's health before her own mission, the Straw Hats were able to recruit Chopper. She finds him adorable and calls him Tony-kun, which always launches him into one of his happy dances.

The two great warriors of Arabasta, Chaka and Pell have always watched out for Vivi. Pell especially was fond of her, even taking her for a ride when he knew the risk that it carried if he was found out. Igaram likewise was also fond of the Princess and often acted with paranoia and deep concern for her well being. He also willingly risked his life to protect her when their cover in Baroque Works was discovered.

Kohza has been a close personnel friend of Vivi's for 11 years. Though they originally met on bad terms, they soon came to a level of respect between them. Vivi owes her life to him for saving her from some kidnappers as a child. Her friendship with him led Baroque Works to become paranoid of the outcome of the pair meeting up again and they did everything possible to prevent the two meeting up.

On Baroque Works, Mr. 9 and Miss Monday had become close friends to Vivi and Igaram (Mr. Cool. Their friendship was considered so strong that both of them willingly gave their lives to protect her. Mr. 7 and Miss Fathersday were also apparently friends to her. However, by the time they were introduced to the series the pair already knew that she was a traitor to Baroque Works.

    Enemies

She is an enemy of the crime syndicate Baroque Works, she holds extreme hate for their leader Crocodile for the chaos and death he caused in her country. She on multiple occasions stated that she either wished he would be killed or she would kill him.

    Family

    Cobra

King Cobra has great faith in his daughter's strong determination and will. He shows the same level of paranoia about Vivi's safety as Igaram and was relieved when he heard she was safe after her time with Baroque Works.

    Other

Vivi's mother Queen Titi died many years before the current storyline. It is unknown if Vivi had a relationship with her.

    Abilities and powers

Vivi is extremely good at moving about undetected, establishing herself as a single digit member of Baroque Works for two years before her identity was compromised, and returning to Arabasta unnoticed by the citizens.
As a princess, Vivi does not have much experience in battle. However, when required, she can be an effective fighter. Vivi can also make use of Carue as call in despite his frequent incompetence. On her own, she shows surprising natural agility, often dodging attacks gracefully, and almost instinctively, as she usually seems surprised even after it happens. Her techniques, coupled with the tumbling of Mr.Nine, give the 9 pair a dancing theme.

Despite being put on the tenth strongest (or the fifth weakest) team in Baroque works, Vivi was able to defeat the eighth team of Mr.7 and Miss Father's Day on her own, and defeated Miss Valentine with Nami's help. Whether she was always that strong, or grew stronger as she traveled with the Straw Hats is never addressed.

    Weapons

Her weapons of choice are her twirling Kujakki (Peacock) Slashers, which are small sharp jewels attached to her fingers by wires. She is left handed, but is capable of spinning discs with both hands, which is tricky enough with just one.

Also, starting in the Alabasta arc, she starts using more long range Kujakki String Slashers, which are strong enough to behead someone with a single stab. If her Peacock Slashers miss her target as seen when she is fighting Miss Father's Day and Mr. 7 called she can use a special back up move she dubbed Run Back.

Before joining the Straw Hats one of her additional attacks was used upon Zoro: are Miwaku no Memaii Dance which was changed in the anime to Miwaku no Kousui Dance, which is meant to immobilize the opponent, leaving them wide open for a fatal attack, this is later explained to simply be Alabasta perfume wich is extremly pungent to outsiders. She and Mr. 9 once wielded bazookas in an attempt to kill Laboon.

    History

    The Incredible Princess

Vivi's past is first mentioned by Dalton in the Drum Island Arc. She was taken to a meeting between the Counsel of Kings by her father and some of his close personnel followers. During the meeting Wapol had been upset by the words of her father and after the meeting he bumped into her on purpose knocking her over. Despite being so young and that when she fell over it really hurt, she stood up and in a mature manner apologized for being so clumsy and knocking into Warpol.

    The Suna Suna Clan

11 years ago Vivi meet Kohza for the first time. His father had paid the King a visit and Kohza and Vivi met each other and a fight broke out between the two. Kohza's father apologised fr his son's action towards the princess of the kingdom that had become their home, however the King recognised it was just a child's fight and took no further action against Kohza or his father.

Later, Kohza invited Vivi in a fight to join his group called the Suna Suna Clan. After a fight when she proved herself she was declared the sub leader of the Suna Suna Clan. For many weeks on end she and the others would play together, her father and Igaram were always watching over them to ensure their safety (they followed her). One day, she was kidnapped on route and with the aid of all whose who cared about her, she was rescued. Kohza left to the oasis of Yuba soon afterwards to form a new town.

    Watered Truths

Then many years later Crocodile of the Shichibukai came to the country. After a period of drought in which the country (all save the capital Alubarna) experienced a lack of water. Everyone claimed the falling rain over the capital was a blessing of the King until the day came some Dance Powder was found being shipped in by the King. Many knew the King would never do this, but the findings were enough to stur many thoughts from the younger citizens.

When the reputation of the King was sullied and a rebellion instigated, Vivi (along with Igaram, the Captain of the Royal Guard) infiltrated the criminal organization "Baroque Works" under the alias "Miss Wednesday." There, she discovered that the villain behind the chaos in her homeland was none other than Sir Crocodile, a member of Shichibukai).

    Bringing Hope Home

As she was still ostensibly a Baroque Works Frontier Agent when she first met Luffy, the Straw Hats first treated her as an enemy. After her backstory was revealed (and Nami extorted money out of Igaram), however, they agreed to take her in and bring her safely to Arabasta.

    Final Bid Farewell

During her time on the Going Merry, Vivi grew close to the Straw Hat Pirates, admiring their indomitable spirit in the face of adversity and their kind-hearted nature. She even reflected that she'd like to be a member of their pirate crew, if she wasn't a princess. The feeling was mutual, in fact: Luffy offered to let her join (they even considered her as their nakama), but though Vivi very nearly did, she ultimately (and tearfully) declined the offer.

To avoid Vivi being recognized as their ally, they said goodbye to her, showing the X mark of their crew as a sign of their friendship.

    Current Story

Vivi was last seen enjoying the geothermal baths of Ukkari Hot Spring, owned and operated by Goro (Toto's brother and Koza's uncle). She was later seen when the Straw Hats received their bounty raise. Her father and the others alert her at an article they've in the newspaper about the Enies Lobby attack and how one of her biggest foes is working with the Straw Hats now. Yet despite seeing Miss All-Sunday amongst the crew, she was happy about how they were getting along, saying she trusted Luffy's judgement completely concerning his choice of crew members. .

    One Piece Female Characters Bellem10
    Bellemere

    Personality

In her youth she was a renowned trouble maker. While her actions to join the Marines were a shock to all the other villagers, they all cared deeply for her wellfare despite the trouble she had always given them. Due to her past, her decision to adopt her daughters led them to fear the children's own wellfare. However Bellemčre was determined to show she had grown into a mature adult who was capable of such responsibilities, she has occasional relapses such as stating she is dieting to preserve her beauty and youth and Nami points out that her skin is starting to wrinkle and turn yellow to Bellemere's chagrin.

    Relationships

    Friends

She had a funny relationship with Genzo above all other villagers. She was able to manipulate him through a few seductive moves that leave him extremely embarrassed. Genzo knew her past and dubbed her the "Little Thug" in response to her troubles.

    Family

    Nami and Nojiko

Her history gave her an advantage in dealing with Nami's own antics at times, however she could not change the fact that she and her daughters were not related by blood and therefore was unable to handle Nami rejecting her family completely. Neverless she cared about her daughters deeply, she would give her daughters as much she she could afford to, often at her own expense. Her only regret she had was she could not give them everything they wanted in life. However, she loved them both as though they were her own.

    History

One day she and fellow Marines were sent to an island to fight some pirates causing trouble there. The fight was bloody, leaving many dead and destroying the village the two sides were fighting in. Bellemčre lay wounded and dying, she decided that it was alright to let herself die there and then. However just as she was giving up and letting herself go, Nojiko appeared carrying Nami. Bellemčre and Nojiko were lifted by by Nami's unawareness of what had happened and Bellemčre took the two back to her village.

Upon arrival, a storm had broken out over Bellemčre's home island and the two children had grown ill. She insisted the two girls get treatment before her. Later after all three of them were better again, she asked the other villagers not to register the girls for adoption with the World Government. She declared (with many protest from the other villagers) that she was old enough and mature enough to look after the girls herself.

    After the Storm

Bellemčre lived on her orange grove with the girls. While Bellemčre had very little income, she gave everything to her girls and survived by eating the mandarin oranges she grew. One day Bellemčre scolded Nami when she got caught stealing (Nami stole a book because she knew they were poor), shortly after Nami revealed to Bellemčre why she stole the book - she was studying navigation. Bellemčre applauded Nami's first drawing of the island as the first step of her dream to map the world and put faith into Nami that she really could do it.

However while some things were avoided by Bellemčre's money problems, others did not. One day Nami was given one of Nojiko's dresses by Bellemčre (who simply turned the sunflower on it into a lion) and Nami was offended. Nami wanted her own clothes not Nojiko's hand-me-downs. Nami wouldn't acknowledge the three of them as a real family, and ran off, saying that she wished she were adopted by rich people. Bellemčre realized she wasn't acting like an adult back there, she decided to spare some money and prepare Nami's favorite meal even though it would hit her budget. She sent Nojiko to fetch her while she prepared the meal.

    Arrival of Arlong

That same day Arlong invaded the island and found her home, Bellemčre tried to fend them off but was quickly subdued. When asked for the fee needed to stay alive, it turned out all the money Bellemčre had would either save herself or her two daughters. Things would've been okay, as Arlong was unaware of the two girls' existence, Genzo urge her to pay for herself and kep quiet about the girls. But when Bellemčre declared the money she shocked Genzo by stating the money was for her daughters, as she would rather have died than not call herself a mother. To that end, Arlong shot her right in front of the eyes of her two adopted daughters, but not before Bellemčre apologized to Nami for not being richer, and not being able to buy the girls whatever they wanted. With that, she said her final words to the girls: "I love you."

    One Piece Female Characters _alvid10
    Alvida

Alvida was captain of the Alvida Pirates Crew and the first foe encountered in the present timeline. Acording to her wanted poster in the anime, her name is spelled Aluvida (ep. 45); however, in the manga her name is shown to be spelled "Alvida".

    Appearence

Originally, Alvida was a very obese and ugly woman. The Sube Sube no Mi makes Alvida very skinny and, aside from the cowboy hat she wears, Alvida looks totally different from her original form, now dressed in a bikini top and wears a furcoat like a cape.

    Personality

She sees herself as the most beautiful lady in all of the seas; if someone disagrees, she will smash the offender with her iron mace. She imprisoned Koby to be her cabin boy after he boarded her ship by accident. Disliking filth and laziness, her crew was forced to clean the entire deck, if there is even a hint of dust she will once again smash the offender with her club. People used to say she was the most beautiful woman in the world to avoid being hit by her club, these days they really mean it.

    Relationships

    Allies

Alvida nows travels with Buggy, though only because they have a common person they wish to find (Luffy). She, however, does not seem to tolerate Buggy and his crews constant noise making and asked his crew to not be so noisy.

    Enemies

Since Luffy was the first man to defeat her, Alvida has become quite infatuated with him; he doesn't seem to quite understand those feelings. She showed little disappointment when Buggy tried to kill him during the Logue Town arc.

She is the prime enemy of Koby, who has not forgotten the years of hard labor and abuse she put him through. He had boldy stated it was pirates like her that he wished to arrest when he declared his actions to her.

    Abilities and Powers

Before her transformation, Alvida does not seem to be a powerful fighter, as she was unable to land a single blow on Luffy before he defeated her. However, her club is still a deadly weapon, and it can kill a man with one blow. After gaining her Devil Fruit powers, her newly lubricated skin meant that many attacks, such as swords, merely slip off her, leaving her unharmed. She can also 'skate along on her bare feet at high speeds, but requires a ramp to get her started.

    History

In the beginning of the series, Alvida's underlings unintentionally save Monkey D. Luffy from a watery death and, after learning from Koby about how she is forcing him to work for her, Alvida is defeated by Luffy.

Later on, she comes back with the power of the Sube Sube no Mi (Slip Slip Fruit). In Loguetown, she helps Buggy the Clown attempt to execute Luffy, but fails once more. She is currently with Buggy's pirate crew, with her own crew nowhere in sight.

    Nojiko

Nokiko is the adoptive sister of Nami(the two aren't related but were raised together by Belle-Mčre).

    History

    Past Story

She had a tragic past in which everyone around her was killed in a battle between some Pirates and Marines. After the fighting had stopped she found a baby and began to wonder around until she came across Bellemere. Using what little strength she had, Bellemere pulled herself over to the the two children and to the delight of both Nojiko and Bellemere, the baby laughed seeming unaware of the bloodshed that happened.

Soon afterwards, Bellemere set sail for her home town with the two children and arrived back home during a storm. She handed over the two girls to the village doctor even though she was hurt. After all three were better Bellemere announced she was taking in the two girls Nojiko and the baby (who had been dubbed "Nami" by then), something Nojiko was apparently happen about.

Their life together was a struggle as Bellemere was poor. Being the elder of the two sisters Nojiko had everything bought for her first and Nami would end up with her hand-me-downs. After scolding Nami for denouncing them as a family causing Nami to run off, Nojiko was sent after her.

That same day Arlong invaded the island and found her home, Bellemere tried to fend the fishman off but was quickly subdued. When asked for the fee needed to stay alive, it turned out all the money Bellemere had would either save herself or her two daughters. Things would've been okay, as Arlong was unaware of the two girls' existence, but Bellemere gave it to her two girls as she would rather have died than not call herself a mother. To that end, Arlong shot her right in front of the eyes of her two adopted daughters, but not before Bellemere apologized to Nami for not being richer, and not being able to buy the girls whatever they wanted. With that, she said her final words to the girls: "I love you."

    Present Story

In the present storyline, she saves Usopp and a boy called Chabo from the hands of the fishmen.

She reveals Nami's past to the Straw Hats. After trying to stop Nami from attacking Captain Nezumi, a Naval officer who tries to take the money Nami raised for her deal with Arlong, Nojiko was shot by him in the back. However, she survived. She also aided in the rescue of Luffy with the help of Genzo after Luffy is thrown into the ocean by Arlong with his feet stuck in a block of cement.

    Appearance

Her right arm is covered in tattoos, which she got to help Nami not to feel ashamed of her tattoo of Arlong's pirate logo. In the manga, she gave her bracelet to Nami. Her hair is light blue and seems to wear pink lip-liner.

    Personality

Nojiko is Nami's level headed sister. She is highly supportive to Nami, her adoptive sister, and generous to Genzo, who she and Nami had seen as a father figure. Unlike her sister, she seemed to keep herself out of trouble, although she apparently had a habit of upsetting boys. As she grew older she also became partly responsible for the well being of others on the island during the years of Arlong's rule, shewould try to prevent others from raising up against Arlong while Nami worked hard towards her deal with Arlong. [3]

Nojiko does not like stupid people who just throw away their life recklessly. Nojiko also has a belief that if you no longer have the will to live and wish to die, so long as you try hard enough adult or child it will not matter.

    Relationships

Nojiko always had a fairly content relationship with Bellemere and never saw a problem with being adopted by her stepmother. Unlike Nami, she was aware of the situation she was found in by her and she laughed alongside Bellemere about how Nami had been unaware of the bloodshed that happened around them.

    One Piece Female Characters 150px-10
    Miss Kaya

    History

Kaya is a rich girl who gets an inheritance after her parents died. Kaya becomes sickly, and her caretaker Klahadore often tends to her.

    Arrival of the Straw Hats

Secretly, the town liar Usopp would visit her and tell her tall tales that make her laugh and feel better.

However, Klahadore was very disapproving of this and eventually kicked Usopp out and made Kaya believe that he is a bad influence. The same day, Usopp overheard an conversation between Klahadore and Django, a hypnotist. Klahadore was really Captain Kuro and revealed that he planned to kill Kaya for her money - the last three years he has just been toying with the young woman. Usopp tried to warn Kaya about the plot, but Kaya believes that he is lying; she rebukes him when he insists that he is telling the truth, even going so far as to slap him.

    The Murderous Plot

Kaya is later informed of the truth by Merry, another servant of hers when he is attacked by him during the night suddenly. Despite the risk, Kaya confronts Kuro during a battle between Kuro and his men and Monkey D. Luffy, Usopp, Nami, and Zoro. Kuro reveals that he tried to kill Merry. Kaya aims a gun at Kuro, but she drops it and cries after Kuro talks about how he was publicly at her side and how much he wants to kill her. Usopp tells the Usopp's Pirates to protect Kaya.

Ninjin, Tamanegi, and Piman, flee with Kaya to the forest. Django chases after them. When the children try to sneak up on Django, he attacks them and threatens to kill them. Kaya threatens to kill herself unless the children are kept alive. As she has not yet signed a will that states that Kuro is to get Kaya's worth when she dies, Django would be in trouble if she kills herself at this point, so he agrees to leave the children alone.

The children pretend to be knocked out when Django forces Kaya to sign the will. Right before Django is able to slice her throat apart, Usopp's pirates ram him with a shovel. After Django knocks them away, Usopp and Zoro appear. Zoro slices off a branch with his sword, while Usopp hits Django with his Secret Technique Shooting Star attack, saving Kaya's life. Later she and the Usopp Pirates make a promise to never tell anyone about the Kuro inccident.

    Appearence

Kaya is a fairly tall, thin, blond girl. She is pretty and yet despite her fortune is rarely seen in anything but simple neat clothing, be it a plain long dress or "common" clothing such as a skirt and jacket.

    Personality

Miss Kaya is a young rich girl and leads a (now) happy and healthy life with little care. When she was first introduced she was a sickly girl, but later it turns out she was just worrying herself into sickness. She is care free and very trusting towards others.

    Relationship

    Friends

Kaya is in debt with her friend Usopp and has grown fond of him very much since he saved her life, more so then she ever had been in the past. She was willing to listen to Usopp's tales knowing he was a liar, yet incapable of accepting some of the grim realities when the stories become serious about Kurahadol, believing the butler to be loyal and faithful to her. Since the Kuro incident, she understands he wants her only to be safe and happy, which is why he told his outrageous stories to her while he was in the village. She made a promise never to tell anyone about the Blackcat Pirates attack.

She keeps up to date with any information that is realized on him in the newspapers and vows that no matter what condition he is in when he returns, she will nurse him back to health. A small running gag is that, even though Ussop's face hasn't been shown in either of the wanted posters he has appeared on, Kaya always recognizes him even before the person the poster is supposed to depict.

Since Kurahadol went, Merry seems to have become the servent she turns to. She also keeps in touch with the former Usopp pirates and talks to them whenever an update on the Straw Hats - Ussop in particular - gets round to them.

    Enemies

Until his deception was revealed, Kaya had always been fond of Kurahadol, even leding to dismiss Usopp's stories that he was lying about him being a pirate. When she discovered everything was a lie she became upset and could do nothing as he betrayed her feelings on purpose, upsetting her in the process.

    Family

    Parents

Kaya's parents are dead. They died by "accident" according to Kuro and were not part of his plan to gain her riches. From Kurahadol, we learn her father had loved his daughter very much and wished nothing but the best for her.

    Other

Kaya may have other family, however the storyline may never touch on this idea. Kurahadol mentions that if Kaya died without signing a will with her fortune being left to him, the mansion will go to relatives.

    Thanks and Farewell

After the incident, Kaya gave the Going Merry to Luffy and his group of pirates as gratitude for saving her life. Instilled with a new sense of health and determination, Kaya decided then that she would study to become a doctor one day, and hopefully help others in need as Usopp once helped her.

    Miss Kalifa

    History

    Secretary

Cafila was first seen as the Secetary for Iceberg that kicked anyone who mocked him. Later she arrested Franky and showed her true colors by being a member of CP9.

    CP9 Agent

When Califa was seen with the other CP9 members she was given the Awa Awa fruit from her boss to deal with the Straw Hat pirates making sure they wouldn't rescue Nico Robin. Whenever her boss said her name she would say it was sexual harrassment.

    Enies Lobby

During the attack on the tower she fought against Sanji after he came to himself (he was struck by her looks and they were drinking tea). Sanji almost won but withdrew since he would never strike a women. She turned him into a soap doll and through him down the stairs. Nami later arrived to confront her but she had set a trap on the floor making her legs clean while Califa was taking a bubble bath. Once she got out the bath she used her powers but Nami quickly knew that she is a soap women this upsets Califa making her a bit cocky. She manages use her powers during the battle, however she is defeated by thunder lance tempo in the chest.

    CP9's Personal Report

Blueno is shown using his Devil fruit's ability, Air Door at Enies Lobby while carrying Lucci. Kalifa and Fukurou is also shown at the back of Blueno. Having been striped naked by Nami to find the No. 2 key, Jyabura has lent her his shirt. She, along with the other CP9 members, walked along what is likely to be the Sea Train's tracks to St. Poplar. She is seen of the cover of chapter 500 to clean the streets with her Awa Awa devil fruit powers. After CP9 payed for Lucci's medical fee's thay use the rest to buy clothes and other essentials, Kalifa is seen with Kumadori reading a book and smoking while others wait for them to return with the shopping. She is then seen smiling as Lucci, having recovered from his injuries, is discharged from the hospital. She is later seen with the team playing bowling, though her superhuman strength resulted in her essentially lauching the bowling balls into the walls.

    About:

Kalifa was Iceburg's secretary and is the only female belonging to CP9.

    Personality

    Galley-La

When we first see Kalifa as Iceburg's secretary, she seemed to be a serious, businesslike woman with a hot temper. She does not like being referred to by her name, considering it sexual harassment. She is, at first, fiercely loyal to Iceburg and is always seen walking around with him.

    CP9

During the Enies Lobby arc, Kalifa personality becomes sly and crafty, as she enjoys embarassing her superior, Spandam by accusing him of harassing her.[2] Despite her initial impression of being completely serious and profesional, she became easily flustered while fighting against Nami.

    Abilities and Powers

    Devil Fruit

Kalifa's fruit is Awa Awa no Mi(Bubble Bubble Fruit).

However after eating the Devil Fruit and facing Nami, Kalifa was reduced to taking things lightly and was proved that she is not as bright as she was (such as mistaking Monster Chopper for Nami). It was this unfocused and impulsive attitude that led to her defeat at Nami's hands.

    Weapons

In Water 7, she uses a spiked whip for attacking, climbing tall buildings and for restraining Franky for arrest.

    Fighting Style

Kalifa also uses a kick-based fighting style, when not using Rokushiki or Awa Awa techniques. Her attack speed is fast enough to leave residual images after striking.

    Jewelry Bonney

Jewelry Bonney is a gluttonous pirate captain. She is currently one of eleven pirates who have been referred to as "The Eleven Supernovas" on Sabaody Archipelago whose bounties are higher than 100,000,000 when the Straw Hats arrive in the place. She is the only female Supernova.

    History

After a long voyage following one of the Log Pose routes of the Grand Line, Bonney and her crew came to the Sabaody Archipelago to prepare themselves for the New World. While there, she and her crew decided to eat in a restaurant located in Grove 24 of the mangrove. There, she ordered a big meal and disgusted the other customers with her appetite and bad table manners. She in particular, disgusted Capone Bege and almost got into a fight with him and his crew if not for the temporary truce that they had to observe between them.

After her meal and leaving the restaurant, she saw Zoro about to attack a World Noble who shot at him. As Zoro evaded the shot and prepared to attack, Bonney leapt into Zoro's way and threw him down to the ground. While doing so, she subsequently called Zoro "her brother" and stated that he "died" (slapping some tomato juice unto Zoro's forehead to make it look so) at that moment from the shot fired from the World Noble in order to prevent an incident from happening which could potentially cause an Admiral to be dispatched by the Marines to the archipelago.

Upon hearing of Luffy's attack of a Tenryuubito, she became angry and, before supposedly leaving, said that if she will ever see the Straw Hats again in the New World, she will crush them there. In the midst of her escape, she used her Devil Fruit abilities to turn any attacking Marines into children and old men.

    Appearance

Bonney generally looks like a cow girl in skimpy clothes and have a piercing on her right eye. She is generally slim for some reason despite being able to consume huge amounts of food. She can also appear as a small child due to her devil fruit power.

    Personality

Bonney is an extremely gluttonous person with very bad manners. She would for instance, demand for more food despite stuffing her face with her current meal at the same time. While bad mannered as she is, she however has some common sense. She has the common sense to know when to fight and when trouble should be prevented particularly when traversing dangerous territory such as the Sabaody Archipelago. When she saw Zoro attempting to attack a World Noble, she orchestrated a scene wherein her "older brother" got "killed" from the Noble's initial shot in order to prevent trouble.

Bonney also believes in the original and stereotypical view of what a pirate should be. While she saved Zoro from attacking a World Noble it was to protect her own skin. She refused to help an innocent man who was shot earlier by the same noble for the reasons that the man was a stranger and that she was a pirate.

    Abilities and Powers

Bonney, for some yet to be specified reason, seems to be able to gorge down huge amounts of food without any adverse effects on her body. No matter how much she eats, she is somehow able to stuff all the food she ate without becoming full or even remotely fat. This may be just for comic affect such as when Luffy and many other anime characters eat ridiculous amounts of food.

Although unverified on what it is, Bonney also exhibits abilities that appear to come from a Devil Fruit involving age(maybe even time) manipulation. She is also somehow able to change her appearance so that she looks like a small kid. She also uses a similar ability to turn a group of pursuing marines into kids and old men. In the case that her abilities be confirmed as coming from a Devil Fruit, then they are one of the few that operates without also affecting items on the user's person, something that is uncommon to most power users. She apparently wears skimpy clothing and supenders so that her clothes will fit when she becomes a child; when the marines were transformed into kids, they're clothes remained the same size and were therefore too big.

    One Piece Female Characters F10
    Shakky

Shakuyaku- also know by her nickname Shakky, is the Bartender of Shakky's Rip Off Bar on the Sabaody Archipelago. She is a former pirate alongside her companion Rayleigh and is also known for once being chased by notable marine Monkey D. Garp. She gave up the life of a pirate forty years ago to open a bar. She is infamous for charging exuberant prices for her goods, however she makes an exception for Hatchan and the Strawhats.

Shakky is very smart, and seems to constantly seek information - particularly on other pirates. She also reads the newspapers in what one could assume to be an obsessive manner, as she believes strongly that knowledge is power. She was the one who informed Luffy of all of the nine other pirates whose bounties exceed one hundred million belli.

She also seems intent on keeping her age a secret; Luffy asked her how old she was when he heard that she had quit being a pirate forty years ago, but she immediately changed the subject. After meeting Luffy for a short time, she is impreessed by him, and states that she's rooting for him to become the Pirate King, particularly since she's aware her associate, Silvers Rayleigh was the First Mate of Gold Roger and is aware that Roger and Luffy are similar. The Straw Hats return from the Human Auctioning House, where they found Rayleigh, and the tells the group about Roger's fate. Currently, she is taking care of the wounded Hatchan, as the Straw Hats depart.

    One Piece Female Characters X10
    Camie

Camie (Keimī) is a mermaid that first appeared in the Hatchan's Sea-Floor Stroll mini-series. She first appears after being spat out of a large sea boar that was saved by Hatchan, along with her starfish pet and master, Pappug.[1] She is one of the only two Merfolk featured so far in the series, the other being Kokoro. Camie is named after the Japanese word kame which means "turtle".

    History

    Hatchan's Sea-Floor Stroll

While traversing the seas, Camie and her starfish pet and master, Pappug, were unfortunately eaten by a large sea boar. This creature, while they were inside, had the unfortunate luck of becoming prey to a much larger leviathan-like sea king. Fortunately, the sea boar, and the occupants within in it, were saved by Hatchan, who defeated the leviathan with a trident he acquired. With the danger averted, the sea boar coughs out both Camie and Pappug due to all the commotion. Freed from being inside the large fish, Camie thanks Hatchan for rescuing them from being eaten by another large fish while they were in a large fish.

Though freed from the sea boar, Camie unfortunately got traded by her savior to a bunch of his old chums for a map leading to some treasure and a legendary Takoyaki sauce. Her captors, Macro and his crew, intended to sell Camie off as a slave of sorts for a high profit. Macro's scheme to sell Camie off, however, was stopped as Hatchan busted through his ship, and beat Macro and his crew up. Apparently Macro seemingly tricked Hatchan with a fake map and the Octopus Fishman in retaliation took revenge against his former crew mate thus freeing Camie unintentionally in the process. Macro however, revealed as he was being beaten up by Hatchan, that he didn't trick him and that the map was real. It just so happened that the treasure and the sauce was in the giant octopus, Mash, that Hatchan beat up earlier when he followed the map, as Hatchan, Camie, and Pappug found out much to their surprise. With her savior finally getting his much sought after prized, Camie and Pappug decided to tag along with Hatchan as he carried off with the treasure, the sauce, and the remains of Mash.

As Camie traveled alongside Hatchan across the sea floor, they eventually came to a village of headband catfish. Because a ship recently sank and crushed on top of their village, the catfish, as a result, were starving. Their sad story moved both Camie and Pappug to tears. When Hatchan saw the situation and ran away with his treasure, Camie and Pappug initially thought that he ran away with it so he wouldn't donate any amount of it to help with the repairs of the village. Hatchan however in reality, ran off with his treasure in order to buy some cooking utensils. Together with the utensils, the remains of Mash being chopped up and cooked, and the legendary Takoyaki sauce, Hatchan set up a Takoyaki stand and made several Takoyaki balls for which the starving catfish could eat. Camie and Pappug thus aided Hatchan in giving out several orders of Takoyaki balls for the starving catfish.

After giving away all but one set of Takoyaki balls with the legendary sauce to apparently all the catfish, Camie and Pappug rested awhile after all the hard work. Though only a few of the Takoyaki balls remained, it didn't take long for its smell to attract some attention. For this, Camie encountered another Octopus Fishman, Octopako, who came to eat the Takoyaki. Octopako was a Fishwoman that Camie's friend, Hatchan, had long been in loved with. She was the reason Hatchan sought after the legendary Takoyaki sauce and he intended to propose to her with the remaining Takoyaki. However Octopako was a very snobbish and selfish Fishwoman which Camie and Pappug both noticed upon meeting her.

Just as Hatchan was about to give Octopako the Takoyaki, Camie and everyone found out that there was still one headband catfish left to feed. It was catfish elder who unfortunately arrived late coming to the Hatchan's Takoyaki stand. Being the last starving catfish, he was naturally given the last of the Takoyaki instead of Octopako. It was then that Camie saw Octopako's true nature as she saw Octopako punch Hatchan for not giving her the Takoyaki. As the selfish Fishwoman left Hatchan, Camie tried to comfort him from his heartbreak. She does so until she falls asleep alongside Hatchan and Pappug under the warmth of the setting sun.

The next day, Camie and everyone else awake to a pleasant surprise. The headband catfish, in gratitude for Hatchan's kindness, had built a magnificent ship for him, the Takoyaki 8. With the grand opening of Hatchan's new floating Takoyaki stand, Camie continued traveling alongside her Fishman friend.

Straw Hats, Takoyaki, and Flying Fish

While traveling across the ocean, Camie and Pappug got lost from Hatchan and once again became victims of a large sea king as they were swallowed up whole for the twentieth time. Fortunately, they were once again saved from being digested. This time however it was by Luffy, who had sailed to the second Red Line intersection of the Grand Line and now planned on going to Fishman Island along with his crew. Spat out from the sea king's belly when Luffy struck the beast, Camie was flung from the creature's mouth and onto the Thousand Sunny where she unfortunately landed onto a lovestruck Sanji. Upon landing onto the Sunny, she was shocked of the group of human people that were there. In thanks for saving her however, she decided to reward them by selling them Takoyaki. She however was reprimanded by Pappug for selling Takoyaki instead of just simply giving it to her saviors. For this mistake both she and her saviors were shocked.

After being properly introduced to the Straw Hats, Camie decided to properly reward her saviors with her promise of Takoyaki. However upon trying to reach Hatchan via Den Den Mushi, she found out that Hatchan had been kidnapped by Macro and his crew. She learned that Hatchan was beaten by them with the aid of the Flying Fish Riders and was taken to the Flying Fish Riders' base that was five kilometers from Grove 44 of the Sabaody Archipelago. Seeing that Hatchan was in danger at the moment, Camie decided to unfortunately decline rewarding her saviors with Takoyaki in order to save him. Seeing that she was in trouble however, Nami offered that if they helped her, she would in return show them the way to Fishman Island. Camie agreed to this and also promised that they'll also get their Takoyaki reward as well, a notion which prompted most of the guys in the crew to eagerly save Camie's friend.

Having gained some allies to help her save Hatchan, Camie called out some fish and asked if they could show them the way to the Flying Fish Riders' base. The fish complied and formed an arrow with their bodies for Camie and the Straw Hats to follow across the ocean. However, they stated to Camie that they would only lead her and her friends close enough to the place, as they were scared of the Flying Fish Riders. After sailing for awhile, the fear of the fish had arrived and they apologized to Camie that this was as far as they go. Shortly afterwards, the Flying Fish Riders sure enough appeared and started attacking the Thousand Sunny high atop of their giant Flying Fish.

Although they were initially attacked, Camie and the rest of her companions found out that their attackers left them in mid-battle for some reason unknown to them. Regardless however, they continued onwards to the Flying Fish Riders' base. Upon arriving there, Camie and the rest found the base completely deserted. The only person about was Hatchan who was locked up in a suspended caged placed directly in the middle of the base. Though it seemed like it would be an easy task to save Hatchan due to the circumstances, there were some problems. The whole setup smelled like a trap, a thought that shock both Camie and Pappug since they didn't think about it until they were told, and her allies apparently didn't want to save Hatchan upon learning who he was.

To Camie's shock, she learned that her newfound allies were past enemies of Hatchan and had thoughts of not helping him because of their past encounter with him. Feeling abandoned, Camie, along with Pappug, decided to free Hatchan by herself and unfortunately dove once again into the clutches of Macro and his crew. Camie's hopes however weren't all lost then as the Straw Hats decided to save both her and her friends regardless of past experiences. With Luffy's help, Camie and Pappug were rescued from Macro and placed onto the deck of the Flying Fish Riders' base.

With the Straw Hats' help, Camie was soon reunited with Hatchan. As she and her friends noticed how strong their newfound allies were, a dire situation. The leader of the Flying Fish Riders, Duval, appeared and it was learned by everyone why the Flying Fish Riders were fighting so ambitiously against the Straw Hats. Their leader's face looked exactly like the wanted poster of one of the Straw Hats, Sanji, and he was out for revenge for having been mistaken for the chef. Through some fierce interactions between Sanji and Duval, Sanji was caught by the Flying Fish Riders in a net and dragged down deep within the ocean. Seeing Sanji in trouble, Camie immediately dove in after the Flying Fish Riders that caught him. With her amazing speed underwater, she freed Sanji and bought him back to the surface. As she brought him back up, Camie asked the other Straw Hats about the condition she saw him when she saved him. When Camie saved Sanji, as she told the pirates, Sanji started having a serious nosebleed. She was fortunately reassured that this was nothing and Camie thus laid Sanji back on the deck of the Flying Fish Riders' base.

After Sanji rearranged Duval's face with a barrage of kicks, the battle was soon over and the whole incident was resolved. With Hatchan free, Camie and her friends decided to keep their part of the bargain with the Straw Hats. They first rewarded the Straw Hats with a helping of Takoyaki that they promised.

One Piece Female Characters Empty Re: One Piece Female Characters

Post by yocams Fri Aug 08 2008, 23:54

    Continue Part 2 of Cami

    For Sale on Sabaody

After the promised meal and a little encounter with Duval who was thankful for his new face, Camie and her friends led the Straw Hats to the Sabaody Archipelago. They explained that though she and her friends themselves can just swim to Fishman Island being able to breath underwater and all, in order for the Straw Hats to get there, they would need to coat their ship with a special resin found in the archipelago. Upon arrival on the archipelago, Camie and her friends joined the landing party of the Straw Hats in order to lead them to the mechanic who could coat the Thousand Sunny with the special resin. As the group ventured forth into the archipelago, both Camie and Hatchan donned some disguises and told the Straw Hats to treat them as if they were regular humans while on Sabaody due to the discrimination by the locals towards their races. The group soon rented some Bon Chari, a mode transportation on the archipelago, and toured some of the places' sites as they headed to their destination. While the group was generally having fun as they journeyed, they soon witnessed one of Sabaody's darker aspects. A slave named Dias attempted to escape from his World Noble masters but got heavily injured in the process. The whole scene made Camie sick as the group couldn't do anything to aid to hapless man else face the wrath of the World Nobles.

As Camie and the group continued on their journey to the mechanic, they eventually came into the more shadier parts of the archipelago. There they came to a bar and met an old acquaintance of Hatchan, Shakuyaku. Through Shakky, Camie and the others learned that the mechanic they were seeking, Rayleigh, was not in but could be found somewhere else on the archipelago. Before they could go and search for him however, they were also warned by Shakky that on the archipelago then were a bunch of strong pirates roaming about that they should look out for. These nine pirates all had bounties higher than 100,000,000 and would be trouble if they should meet them.[26] With new information about the mechanic's whereabouts and the warning, Camie and the group set out to look for Rayleigh.

The first place they decide to look in is the Sabaody Park, a place they heard from Shakky where the mechanic would be aside from the lawless zones. However, instead of looking for the mechanic thoroughly, Camie and the group decide to enjoy the many attractions the park offered. With the group, Camie was not only able to enjoy the park's attractions in safety, but she was also able to fulfill a childhood dream shared by her race and the Fishmen alike, ridding the ferris wheel of Sabaody Park. However in the middle of all the fun and excitement, Camie is kidnapped by Peterman and his kidnapping gang, the Hound Pets, to be sold as a slave for the rest of her life.

After a journey to Grove 1, Camie was delivered by her captors to the Human Auctioning House there. There she was mistreated by the auction house's manager, Disco, for her behavior. Fortunately however, Disco was taken out by a "rush of spirit", courtesy of Rayleigh, who was also being sold there as a slave there for some reason. As Camie awaited with the other slaves to be auctioned off, she was outfitted with an exploding collar on her neck. She was then placed in a giant fish tank by her captors for when she would be presented. After a pirate captain, Lacueva, committed suicide by bitting his tongue while being put up on auction, it was Camie's turn next.[28]

As Camie was presented to be auctioned, she noticed Hatchan and her friends were amongst the people in the auction house. They came there and planed to buy her in the auction in order to save her without causing an incident. However before they could do anything to save her, a World Noble, Carlos Sei, immediately bid an immensely large amount of money on her. With plans to place her in his fish tank full of piranhas and watch her be chase, Carlos bid 500,000,000 on her. Without any other bidder to challenge Carlos, Camie was sold off to him. Just as she was sold off however, Luffy and Zoro came crashing in. A ruckus was then started by Luffy as he came forward to rescue Camie. Suddenly in the middle of everything, Camie saw in horror as Hatchan was shot by Carlos when he was revealed to be a Fishman in the ruckus. Unable to do anything while in her fish tank, all that Camie could do was pound on against her prison as her screams of her horror were muffled by the glass.

Just as things looked bad, Camie, as well as the rest of the people in auction house, suddenly saw Luffy punch Carlos in the face for what he did to Hatchan. As nearly everyone in the auction house started to panic at what Luffy did, Camie's fish tank was sliced open in half by one of Zoro's techniques in the midst of the chaos. Though her prison was open thanks to Zoro, the collar on Camie's neck however was still attached. As the chaos in the auction house continued, Shalulia Guu, the sister of Carlos, decided to shoot Camie in order to stop the Straw Hats. Fortunately however before the World Noble could shoot Camie, Shalulia was knocked out by a rush of spirit sent by Rayleigh. The coating mechanic had fortunately arrived in the scene alongside the giant who was supposed to be sold in the auction. With him in the scene, Camie and her friends were saved temporarily as Rayleigh took out all the guards in the auction house who were trying to capture them.

With the Coating Mechanic on the scene, Rayleigh was able to remove Camie's collar by hand without it exploding in her face. Though she was reunited with her friends and that the mechanic that they were looking for was found, Camie and the rest in the auction house didn't have time for any pleasantries. They learned that at that moment, a group of Marines had surrounded the place in response for what Luffy did. Despite this however, Camie's Straw Hat friends decided to break through the blockade that surrounded the place. With a little help from some members of two other pirate crews, the Kid and the Heart Pirates, who were also in auction house and were then being accused by the Marines of being the Straw Hats' accomplices, Camie and her friends were able to escape the place with her being carried by Franky. As they escaped, Camie and her friends were reunited with Duval and his men who decided to help out in the situation from since when they learned from Sanji that she was kidnapped. After they return to Shakky's Rip-Off Bar to rest, Rayleigh tells them the story of Gold Roger, and the truth about his execution. Because of the Marine Admiral threat, Rayleigh has to depart because he can only coat the Thousand Sunny in three days at least, and the Straw Hats have to break up to avoid capture. As they leave, Rayleigh and the Straw Hats say farewell to Camie, Pappug, Hatchan and Shakky, as they leave the bar.

    About Camie:

    Appearance:

Camie is young mermaid who is generally seen wearing a t-shirt and carrying a backpack. The t-shirt she is usually seen wearing in particular is of the same fashion brand, Criminal, her master Pappug designs. She is at least younger than thirty years as her tail has yet to be split into two. She is specifically a Kissing gourami mermaid and as a reference to the type of fish she is, she always expresses a very distinct facefault whenever she is shocked by something. Whenever she expresses shock, along with her eyes typically popping out as commonly seen in manga and anime, her facefault is always expressed with a very wide open mouth that shows her teeth and her tongue is usually seen sticking out in a up and down, zig zag manner.

While Camie's overall appearance has not changed much, because of Oda's change of style since he first drew her, Camie has a few changes in appearance. The first is an addition of a dorsal fan along her spine. Her mermaid fish tail is generally longer and slimmer now and her caudal fin is now larger and more curvy. Overall, she had been drawn more sexy than how she first appeared.

    Personality

Camie has the habit of being easily shocked. Anything from a simple mistake to large shocking situation makes her shocked to a degree greater than any other normal person would be.

Camie and her starfish, Pappug, also have the most unfortunate luck of getting eaten by larger sea kings almost every time. By the time she meets the Straw Hats, it is her 20th time being swallowed. Camie also has the unfortunate luck of getting captured almost every time. Before she was captured by Macro and his crew once again in the Flying Fish Rider's base, she had been previously captured by the Fishman Pirates thirty times. Fortunately for her, somebody is usually around to save her. This has usually been Hatchan since Camie met him.

Camie has a habit of referring to humans in an unique way. Instead of simply saying human and humans, she says human person and human people respectively. She also tends to address others with the suffix "Chin" added to their names in a similar fashion as how "San" and "Chan" are used in Japanese to address others. She would thus address Luffy as Luffy-chin, Nami as Nami-chin, Hatchan as Hatchin, and so on.

While Camie is currently working part-time for Hatchan's Takoyaki business, she dreams of becoming a famous fashion designer like her master, Pappug.

    Relationships

Camie is friends with Hatchan since he rescued her and Pappug from the sea boar. Though he initially traded her for a map, she has stuck with him and helped out with his business due to his kindness.

Camie is often seen accompanied with Pappug. The two usually travel together and ironically get eaten by larger fish and both require rescuing together. Camie is oddly enough both the owner and apprentice of the starfish, Pappug. While she keeps him and feeds him clams, she also studies under him in order become a successful fashion designer like him.

Camie has an unfortunate relationship with the Macro Fishman Pirates. Since selling mermaids sets such a high price on the slave market, Macro and his crew have since been trying to capture her to sell her off as a slave since they first cross paths with her. While she is easily captured by them practically every time, Hatchan usually saves her by beating the pulp out of Macro and his crew.

    Abilities and Powers

Being a mermaid, Camie has several abilities unique to her race. She has the ability to talk to fishes and call out to them with a sound wave, somewhat similar to a dolphin's, which is apparently only audible to the them. Apart from the ability to breath underwater, she also has the ability to swim very quickly at speeds much faster than the flying fishes used by the Flying Fish Riders.

    Nico Olvia

Nico Olvia (Niko Orubia) is Nico Robin's mother, an archaeologist 20 years ago.

    History

After her husband died, she set out on a six year journey in 1496 to research the Poneglyph along with 33 others. At the end of the 6th year in 1502, her ship was caught by the Marines. Her colleagues fought back to defend Olvia but were all killed except her. From the moment of capture, her fate was determined. Olvia was interrogated by Jaguar D. Saul. She was then set free by Saul who was disgusted by the World Government's Justice system and manage to get away with the Marine's ship.

Upon arriving at Ohara, Olvia went to the Tree of Knowledge library to warn her colleagues. As she was warning them, she heard that a World Government ship has docked on shore. She left with a rifle in her hand. As she ran, she was unaware that her daughter Robin ran past her going the opposite way.

She later tried to shoot Spandine, but missed and was knocked out by his two CP9 agents and arrested. She was then thrown before the faces of the incapacitated scholars, so as to force them to show their association with the woman and so automatically to prove their "guilt". After the truth is spoken to the World by Clover, Olvia is confronted by Robin as she is taken away, finally after Robin's pleas she admits her relationship with her. As the Buster Call was about to begin, he ordered that she be taken with them, but panicked after being almost directly hit by an explosion and ran off.

Nico Olvia was left behind and was finaly re-united with her daughter. She then pleaded Saul to take Robin to safety and told Robin to "Live!" She was last seen with the other scholars in the Tree of Knowledge. As it burned down around them she thought that she didn't even leave her daughter with words said as a mother. After that the Tree fell and she along with the rest of scholars perished.

    Appearance

Olvia greatly resembles her daughter Robin, however her hair is white and is far longer. Her skin tone is also slightly lighter than Robin's.

    Relationships

    Nico Robin

She was the mother of Nico Robin, and was very fond of her daughter. However, her life work called her away, forcing her to leave Robin behind. She regretted never being there for Robin, but died proud of her for being an amazing, smart child, who could even decipher Poneglyphs.

    Other

Olvia's husband died many years before the storyline began. The absence of him from Robin's flashback suggests he was dead before she was born, or when she was too young to remember him. Olvia's brother (who was married to a woman called Roji) and Olvia are not seen together interacting. Her brother accepted responsibility of Robin's care upon her departure.
