Devil fruit - The Devil Fruits are a food, brimming with energy and the power of the devil himself. It only takes one bite to absorb the effects of the fruit, which includes a special power, and the inability to swim. The effects of the devil fruit can be nullified by water (as mentioned before, seastone, or by Blackbeard's devil fruit powers (as recently known). In the case of Buggy, It is proven that you don't need to even bite or chew thew fruit for it to take effect. Only one type of fruit with the same power exist in the world (meaning only one Gomu Gomu fruit). So it is possible for two people to have the same power, but no more than that. These fruits are split up into three groups: Paramecia, Zoan, and Logia.
Logia:
This Type of Fruit contains the power of the elements. It grants the user the power to control the element, and even turn into it themselves.
