Long-distance relationship how-tos

I was just curious, since perhaps some of you are engaged in a long-distance relationship. Let's keep it mature and realistic guys. Not because you're only talking through phones you're going to consider yourselves in a long-distance relationship (when pwede kayo magkita anytime); this thread means to cover the "true" LDR wherein either party is removed by hundreds of miles.

Kumbaga magkabilang isla.

So if you're not in an LDR, how would you guys handle it?
ehem, don't get any funny ideas, curious lang talaga ako, wala pa sa plan giggles

Panong hindi naniniwala? Kapag nasa malayong lugar sya di naniniwala na may relasyon or kapag nasa malayong lugar ay di naniniwala na nasa malayo? Hehe tama ba tanong ko?

May mga kaibigan ako na babae na seaman mga asawa nila. Ok naman relasyon nila. Tuwing uuwi yung asawa nabubuntis yung babae. LOL

Depende naman siguro kung anong klaseng relasyon meron kayo. Kung gano kalalim na ang pinagsamahan. Kung gf/bf lang naman at di pa ganong kilala ang isat-isa tapos di magkikita ng maraming taon or buwan dahil nasa malayo ay wag nalang. Ano yun parang textmate or chatmate nalang?

Nasa commitment kasi yun.
Few months lang pala eh. Naging ganyan sakin eh. Kayang kaya yan! Konti lang ang responsibilidad ng mag-gfbf kesa sa magasawa. Kung di makatiis na walang bfgf sa isang araw ay hanap muna ng iba tapos balikan yung dati pag nakabalik na LOL

simula palang wala nang communication agad o aftew few weeks/months? gano kayo katagal walang communication bago mo kinalimutan?

D nmn agad. Last week na ata ng pasukan may nagsabi skin after the school year lilipat daw sila cotabato. Nung tnanong ko sya tumungo lng. Inaantay ko sya na iopen ung topic na un so tahimik lng ako about dun. - Mali ba ko d2?
Nung tym na last chance pra mgkita kmi(Recognition Day). Di sya pumunta and laging d pa sya nagrereply(nsa pinsan nya daw lagi cp). Ang communication lng nmin pag la pasok, 2matwag sya samin kc la cla landline pero d sya 2mawag since the recognition day.
La tlga communications. Inisip ko, bkt d man lng nya ko kausapin 2ngkol dun.
Syempre, feeling ko prang balewala lng ako.
Kinalimutan ko sya nung bakasyon.

Then, nagpasukan na, nung magjujuly, nag enrol sya(late enrollee). Pinilit nya daw mama nya na wag na cla lumipat. WTH!?

Konprontahin mo sya kung ano ba talaga status nyo. Kasi kung hindi mo sya kokonprontahin eh ang dating parang wala lang din sayo ang nangyayari. Wag yung paawa epek, direchohin mo na agad sya kung ano gusto mo iparating o malaman. Tapos kung hindi mo magugustohan ang isasagot nya ay ayawan na. I'm ebil.
